Huntington Learning Center was founded in 1977 by Ray and Eileen Huntington in New Jersey. As educators, they knew first hand that students that were lacking certain skills or had weak basic reading or math skills, struggled in school. They have built the business on a simple but noble mission...to give every child the best education possible. Today, there are almost 400 centers throughout the US.
Huntington Learning Centers recognize that a child who is struggling in elementary school, middle school or high school begins to lose their confidence and motivation, and that these struggles with school can affect the entire family. At Huntington, we identify the areas of weakness and devise an instructional plan to address those areas. Like a professional athlete who goes "back to the basics" in order to succeed, we work with students on skills that will enable them to be successful again in school.
